Advanced Level

 

The advanced level program is suitable for high school graduates M5 and above. Also for those students who have completed and passed the Intermediate Level program or students with a minimum age of 15 who have successfully passed the school’s required pre-test. Advanced level students are usually busy people who need their English to be accurate and socially beneficial. Ideal for high level business people, advanced tertiary studies as well as lifelong English learners who love to hone their hobby and craft.

The aims of the program are:

  • To provide for and develop a high level of English proficiency.
  • To identify the skills required to comprehend more complex texts.
  • To develop the skills and knowledge to be able to communicate in English to an advanced level.
  • To give access to the subtle and precise parts of the English language that can help fine tune meaning.
  • To master the skills needed to be able to communicate and comfortably converse in English in ones daily life and to extend into a possible international career pathway.
  • To undertake deeper discussions and conversations that allow the user to use their personal cultural capital, breaking away from school directed content.
  • To establish a highly positive and professional attitude toward learning and using English, both personally and professionally.

    • Evaluation

    All students are supported and monitored constantly. ‘In the moment’ feedback will be the most powerful tool for any idea of progress. Ongoing feedback is given to fully encourage students and let them know how they’re going..

    The evaluation will be ongoing throughout the program and focus on:

  • Class participation
  • Completing all set exercises
  • Completing an oral examination
  • Formal assessments
